After beating Mutation, using every Golden Puchiguso I found, and at about level 50 or 51.. I have just a little over 1000 HP.

Beat the game with 1017 hp. As for Cubia, patience and a lot of Mage Souls is the best I can do for you, took longer to beat him than it did to beat the last boss.
