Even people that watch other anime shows have trouble with .hack. I have mad ADD and I had trouble sitting and watching some of the more boring episodes.
P.S. I broke 100!

Heh... I have ADD, but .hack drew me in like a fish on a hook. I just love how deep the story is, but you have to pay attention to realize that. My favorite part of the series was trying to guess what would happen next as I waited a week for the next episode. The suspense! It made me think, and very hard too.

The character design/complexity is superb.

It's pretty...deep. I mean, everthing relates to another thing. Like you don't understand some parts of DUSK until you see LIMINALITY and INFECTION/MUTATION/OUTBREAK/QUARENTINE, which you should have watched first anyway.
You're only young once, but you're NEVER too old to be immature.

I would not agree, since that implies that every bit of Project .hack is a piece to a larger puzzle. Rather, every bit of Project .hack is more like an individual tale that intertwines, be it slightly or largely, with another tale.

Project .hack is more like a giant web of individual stories of players in The World, rather than just one fragmented plotline.

that's kinda what i ment, because Morganna is a constant threat through project .hack, though she has different 'ways' of her wrath,
eight phases, aura/tsukasa tie, combining herself with a PC, ya know what i mean.
It all takes place within or based on one place, "The World" Each part, or series, is based on a time within The World

.Hack//Sign is a series that deserves devotion, unfortunatly I am in the east coast US, so I just got mutation. But Liminality 2 has got to be one of the deepest meaning anime episodes I have ever seen. Granted its not Ghost in the Shell but it gets pretty close. Yet again Noir, if anyone else has watched it, gets to be pretty deep also, now im only up to disc three on Noir. I just wish it were easier for me to get anime without paying shipping costs and a translator!
that's DOT hack you insensitive clod!

Well, it's mostly talk but they know how to keep it interesting. When something happens, you just want to know what will happen next. It gives you a lot of info for the game. Well, on the etipaph of twilight.
