K, Tasogare has a double meaning: Twilight or Dusk. Because it's .hack and there's this whole lingo about "Twilight," it's assumed the UdeDen Tasogare title refers to "Twilight." Not to mention Legend of the Dusk Bracelet doesn't make much sense, imo.

UdeDen title is more into the Bracelet than the Twilight. I like the title .hack//Bracelet more than .hack//Dusk. .hack//Twilight suits better into the game. I do remember that someone used the term .hack//Twilight for UdeDen in Theworld bbs, tho

Personally, .hack//BRACELET sounds a bit silly, but, hey, that's just me... I think it was rather silly to substitute "dusk" for "twilight" if "tasogare" clearly meant, in this case, "twilight." But, hey, that's just me...

And I use my avatar (though in color) on a variety of message boards... Perhaps you've seen it on an ezboard?

Take in mind, 'UdeDen' does not say 'bracelet', nor does it say 'legend'. It's a merging of the two words 'Udewa' and 'Densetsu'.

That's the exact thing that happened to give Pokemon the name it has today. "Poketto" and 'Monsuta" got merged to "PokeMon". Same with BeMani, which is signifigantly easier than saying Beatmania in Japanese (be-tomania = bemani).

That's kind of the same thing as abbreviating for us. We could probably call it LotB - that's just about the same as saying UdeDen for them, technically.

yes, I know that its a combi of two words, but the "thing" that is discussed in the Udewa densetsu title is the Bracelet, and not the Twilight, that's what I mean ^^

Udewa - Bracelet
Densetsu - Legend

If you shorten it, it's better to say the Legend of Bracelet than the Legend of Twilight, rite?

But in the official us title... it's "the legend of Twilight," of well ^^;

I think it was shortened because "Legend of the Twilight Bracelet" was too long... I'm not sure if it was at Tokyopop's whim or if it was at Bandai's request.
