Sides, I'm just teasing - never good being sick, and you need to get better as fast as possible.

And I have to wonder - when did any of US claim to be mature? I'm curious! Really!

That's a standard pushed upon us by the unwashed masses! BAH! Who says having a position of power means you're mature? O_O

There's a difference between maturity and intelligence.

I would prefer to be accused of being intelligent far more than being accused of being mature. Both of which seem to be dirty words in this day and age anyway.

The entire 'anti-establishment' of the world at the moment.

Lord, that being called an Einstein is considered an insult... sages of ages past must be rolling in their graves.

Scary, isn't it?

This is one of the things that we went over in the first couple of days in my media class.. the difficulty in overcoming the pervasive idea that there's something wrong with confronting the world from an intellectual perspective.

You mean that there ISN'T?

Technically that people react in an emotional manner rather than an intellectual manner is what is mainly desired by the people in charge. Its much easier to manipulate people when they are not thinking clearly.

...for example, you buy more .hack stuff! AND LOTS OF IT!

Intellectual as in confronting new ideas and trying to learn something from them, as opposed to dismissing them as being 'dumb.'

I know people, for instance, who saw the first episode of .hack//SIGN, said 'it's dumb' and waved it off. I've had people insult my taste in writing to my face, because they consider science fiction 'dumb.'

'It's Dumb' has become the great, American mantra. :(

Yes, unfortunately it has... Which actually goes back to my opinion on the majority of anime fandom. I don't remember what board I posted that on. :p

I do believe it w3as the slightly more serious commentary board. ^^

But yes, dumb seems to be the standard method of waving something off that you're intellectually unprepared to deal with. But we can be thankful that even though there are pleanty of people who are saying that .hack is 'dumb', there are also many more who are getting excited about it as well.

I think it balances out.

You can draw on him with a marker that consist of washable ink when you could be using " Permex" the marker that only comes off by rapid scratching action. * as he reads from the lable.
Genkis takes the marker and rubbs it on his ear and starts scracthing*

" Awww the Bliss of constant scratching..hmmm Sniff is next lol"
" Im not saying
