The 'chin' suffix is an actual suffix, not a mistranslation. It's not the same as 'chan', exactly, but it serves the same purpose. It's a familiar term, generally between girls.

We're not sure if this is a recent honorific that has come up recently, or just a dilectic thing from a small part of Tokyo.

I scanned through episode 23 and found that part. I guess it's been a while since I've watched it. I still prefer the fan-subs over english voiceovers anyday.

The reason most people prefer Andy00's summaries is because he doesn't just 'type it up real quick'. He obviously spends a lot of time and effort to make a clear, detailed, and well-written summary of an entire episode.

The effort shows, and people appreciate that.

Yes he summarizes ammazingly well, I am currently working on a full sort of summary on the entire .hack//Sign series. It will sort of highlight each episode mainly with an explanation, not much in quotes of people, but it will further explore the plot of each episode and how it falls into place with the ending..and..im not the spoiler type :giggle: ^^ Im done! Hope you guys read it when it's done, thx!

I'd suggest having some pictures of the scenes that you think are pivotal or important. For example, the scene in Roleplay where you see Tsukasa getting Data Drained.

Hm. Is it better to try and fail, or to not bother if you aren't going to put in the effort?

Sucks, though. I'm glad I have them on CD, but I like to watch the dubs to compare.

I don't mind concise summaries when I'm reading a DVD case. But Andy's efforts are definitely informative.

Yeah. I wonder if he tapes them and rewatches them as he writes it, or just has a great memory.
