Helba seems more the kind to work behind the scenes then create a killer computer virus. Actually, maybe it wasn't a young child at all. Perhaps ATLIMIT created the virus to make themselves the only kid on the block, so to speak, and merely framed him.

I don't think they'd let the creator of Pluto's Kiss anywhere NEAR a computer for the rest of their life. See: Hackers the movie.

Honestly, Helba is skilled, but I don't think she'd do something like that, especially since it only served to make ALTIMIT the dominant OS.
