Her image is in the phases' review page in .hack//Encyclopedia. But knowing that Ensaikuro is only half-official, it's kind of hard to believe that she is one of the phases, or Morganna herelf ^^;

There is still 'evidence' that points to both the woman being Morganna and her being Helba. It's flimsy 'evidence' based on speculation, but the more 'valid' (this said in a loose sense) evidence would be in the opening of .hack//GIFT.

As the openings and closings are parodies, when the woman dives into the 'water' at the end, she suddenly becomes Helba.

Now, this is debatable evidence because .hack//GIFT is a parody. But it's a parody from an official source, and therefor could be inconclusive evidence that something like that is thought to be 'official', though it is never stated as such.

I would believe, at this point, that she could be either.

So in other words we're right back were we started...with the exception of maybe possibly crossing out the whole random woman theory. I'm still waiting for responses from the emails i sent....doubt I'll ever hear anything else of it. But I'll keep bothering them until they decide to contact my ISP.

Im ether going with Helba or just a random person to go with the opening. I dont think that its Morganna, shes part of "The World" like the phases, why would she need a game visor. I think Helbas a more likely case, she said that she was interested in what Aura would bring to the world (to go with what Xebexz said about her being with Aura at the end of the opening) and she has become more frequent and a bigger part of the .hack story than i originally expected.

Of course like all the theories before me this is just based on speculation

Some people think that the very first part of the opening could be a commercial for "The World," because of the mouse and keyboard O_o;

I'm pretty convinced that it's Morganna, though.... I mean... you never see her O_o; And I think that IRL, B.T.'s hair is darker, and brown... Helba's hair I thinks is a blondish orange, like the chick in Obsession... But Helba's hair is strait.

Helba's -character's- hair is straight, but the dancing woman is more than likely the IRL representation of Helba.

Or again, it could be Morganna.

This is going to be hard to have a conclusive argument for either one.. Yeesh.

Well, does anyone know what she is called in the encyclopedia picture? I know a certain Japanese fanbase site (http://akiko.s6.xrea.com/hack/chara/) that would definitely have her AND her source if she was offically explained somewhere...

It's an old topic yes but I gotta put my input.

I don't think it could be Morgana or Helba.

Morgana is an AI, thus wouldn't need a headset to interact with "The World".

It could be Helba, since her face kind of looks like Helba's, and her clothes look very hackerish, but somehow after reading all this about .hack//GIFT's opening, I don't think it's true. Maybe she's just some random player, put there to confuse us while they steal our wallets <<>>.
