He opened the treasure chest, and passed out. Maybe my memory's not clear on it.. hrm..

I still don't quite understand how Mai is able to play the game and not go crazy. Is it something Tomonari did when he made her character?

Edit: They even show her see Aura, and then Aura smiles at her.

Ok... let me rephrase that... she doesn't play The World regulary... I mean she only logs in 3 times!

Even though Mai doesn't play The World, will we ever get a chance to see her character anyway?

I don't know, but...

[spoiler]Since she does witness Kite fighting the last phase, there will probably be a cameo appearence of her character during that scene, sort of like the scene with Sieg/Tomonaru in //INFECTION[/spoiler]

Mai is known as
[spoiler]Sieg2 in The World. Her boyfriend made the character for her. Some people have said that you see Sieg in Infection although i dont remember i wasnt really paying attention to some of the names, so i would think that her character is probably like her boyfriends character. Also she thinks that she doesnt get screwed up as Hema said is because she was able to reconize the A tone as Tsukasa said. She reconizes it again i think when she loggs back on with Tokuoka and rips off her visor before Tokuoka starts spazzing. Wether this or her seeing Aura saved her or something else though i dont know. Also Mai is the only who even hears the sound i think as Tokuoka doesnt seem to notice it. (This may be a bit off i may have to watch it again) As someone said before me, i believe Mai's boyfriend fell to a coma and Tokuoka spazzed is because while they encountered Aura they also encountered Skeith, Mai was ablie to snatch her gogles off because she noticed the sound again.(This is just my theory however)[/spoiler]

Mystery//02 Sieg
The character, Sieg, played by Tomonari Kasumi appeares in the game. He is one of the two players talking about Mia at the Chaos Gate in Mac Anu. Though the incident in the game and the OVA follow the same timeline, it seems as though Orca fell into a coma before Tomonari did.

Yes... Orca got DDed before Sieg did, Liminality 1 starts after you get the News Report talking about 2 kids passing out in //INFECTION...

Actually now that I think about it...

[spoiler]In OVA 4,when she logs in under Sieg's account,she says she sees a battle going on,where everyone is fighting together.Mainly,there is an event that does happen in the games,where Aura revives the players who were in a coma and attack the final phase.[/spoiler]
