Weapons for .hack

I think guns fits the world just right >_< I don't see a reason why guns shouldn't be in The World. Weapons don't have much to do with the story anyway

Btw, I remember that my Blackrose once had a lightsaber as a weapon ^^;;

I think that it is O.K. just the way it is now; The World doesn't need guns, because it wouldn't suit to the whole atmosphere in the game. The World is a fantasy RPG isn't it? I think that in most of the fantasy games players don't use guns as a weapon.

Well, They didn't until FFX-2...but thats beside the point. THE WORLD does have the bowman class (I can't remember what that class' actual name is, someone help me out here.) though...Guns just wouldn't fit in...Most RPGs mimic a fantasy enviroment, and when you think of fantasy you think of knights and dragons and really big swords. Especially the really big swords...I'm a sword freak. Oh, and those lightsabre things are ugly and they stand out...

Barret Wallace, Vincent Valentine, Irvine Kinneas, etc, etc. FF characters aren't against the use of guns as much as .hack characters. Still, it would be nice to have any form of projectile in The World. Like, how about a class that throws a ball?

They should let Twin Blades jump around and throw shrikens :p
Or maybe they could do a boomerang like thing with their weapons...

Oh well, I'd like to know why we don't see any more archers after //SIGN...
