Well, I for one, do not want a MMORPG of .hack. It just wouldn't be any fun.... I mean, there would be just so many Sora-want-a-bes, BlackRose-fanboys, Balmung-lovers. I have a good idea. Make an online game, only switch the entire game around. Take out the story, put in a new one, that has nothing to do with Morganna, or the Epitaph of Twilight, or The Key of the Twilight, or Aura or any of that. Then make the outfits different, more like real-time people, and you'd be able to edit your outfit to look exactly like you, (or (for 5 year olds) like Ash Ketchum (bad example) You could also be able to go to websites, pick out an item like a watch, a necklace, or hair spray, and use it on your character to see the end result. That'd be cool. Anyway, there could be vehicles, Chocobos and even Puchigusos! Hmm... And, there could of course be moderators, and editors, just like Reki and Lios, that have dressy suits and stuff. There will be a hawt guy like Balmung, in a spiffy outfit with long hair and a cool voise that girls like, that makes events every week. There will also be a big event that choses like, 10 people every 6 months to defeat this huge monster in a huge dungeon, or building. The bad guys would be robots, and gang members, the mafia, syndicates, and the police. Uhh, The fields would be real cities around the world, each country being a server. And whatever time it is in that city, would be the time in the current game you're playing. If it were raining in Chile, it would rain in your game while in Chile. Even though it never rained in Chile, like ever. And once the ratings are high and they have tons of money, they'd put a fake virus that makes the monsters and bad guys like, 50X harder. Yeah... The way you'd play would be a controller that is either like a PS2 controller, GC controller, or.. eh, and XBOX controller, whatever you're comfortable with. The visor would be like the one their selling on some websites soon in Japan, and you speak the sounds it tells you to and numbers into it, and it will recognize your voice. Once it does, you type onto a keyboard that has an optional on-screen guide for |\|00|3'5 who can't type without looking. (which is hardly me) Whenever you type, the letters appear and once you press enter, it uses your voice to make it like someone's talking. It will probably sound kinda weird, but its still cool.
I wrote that up on the top of my head. It would probably cost as much as 2 New Playstation 2's (the ones with the internet adapters) but, it'd be worth it.
