e.e It's getting quite old and annoying, too... I don't think he revived it for a stupid reason.

If anything, I checked on my copy of Mutation... none of the chains seemed to dissapear. I didn't check in Outbreak yet, though.

The chains don't disappear when you beat both... err.. Magus and Innis.

I've checked the first three volumes and the chains haven't disappeared, until I see them disappear I choose to believe that they remain there and are just used in a symbolic way. It would be cool if they disappeared though.

Maybe towards the end, since by then the Eight Phases and Morganna will be defeated, and Aura has no other reason to continue being "chained down". Who knows? The church seems to play a key area within "The World".

Alright, i'll stop playing mod. *Drops '*WHACK*' stick, which burns before it even hits the ground.* Anyway, i don't think that the chains have to do with the phases, as only 3 phases have fragments of Aura, although they were made to keep Aura from rebirth.

I don't think that just because three of the Phases have fragments of Aura, doesn't mean they don't all have anything to do with it.

If the Phases are out there to keep Aura from being reborn, then basically, they are 'chaining her down'. Besides, the Phases are pretty much 'avatars' of Morganna, and Morganna's the one who wants her to stay down in the first place.

I believe the statue is just a way for Morganna to show that Aura's not going to be reborn. Though, my theory could be thrown out the window, as I have not yet played Quarantine.

Everytime, I see Cubia... I seem to get her fragments.. it's weird...

the chain ordeal is rather easy though its like this

8 phases = chains holding aura

destroyed phases + no chains = free aura

there thats what i understand

That's right. Though, how Cubia managed to get Aura's fragments when Skieth was the one who Data Drained her into those is beyond me. But than again, as the all might Shadow of the Bracelet, I guess you can get to just about anything :p

I just remembered about that. Cubia, I don't think, is a phase at all. Just a shadow of the bracelet. So, dude, I think your idea is kinda wrong, about Aura and the Phases having nothing to do with one another.

Well, here's my belief regarding Aura's segments... Cubia doesn't have them. When Skieth DD'd Aura and she split into three segments, all the segments then shot off in random directions. Its my belief that these segments managed to find their way to the bottom of the dungeons in certain areas (Perhaps Aura still had partial control over herself even though she was split into 3 parts. Afterall, she still sends Kite emails whenever she wants him to come find a segment. I think Morganna no longer saw her as a threat because she couldn't be reborn if she was split into three pieces, so she just stoped worrying about Aura and set her sights on more important matters... like the kid who can destroy her phases for instance.). When Kite makes his way to the final room in the bottom level of one of these dungeons Aura reveals herself and Kite obtains that segment (Perhaps being able to hold on to segments is another power given by the Book of the Twilight???) Anyway, the point of this long post is that Cubia just follows Kite around because... well... he's the freaking bracelet for crying out loud. He just heppens to show up when Kite goes looking for Aura. Here's an intelligent question though, if Cubia is the bracelet, then wouldn't that make him an enemy of Morganna as well? Maybe Cubia stays away from areas with high contamination levels. Then again, may be Cubia and Morganna have an "enemy of my enemy relationship". Or maybe they have no relationship at all....

Everything you guys have posted is probably true
we know that the statue is of aura and the chains DEFINATELY symbolize the 8 phases
Cubia is the Dark Side of the bracelet so it wants to stop Kite(the Light side)
so if Kite gets close to a breakthrough against morganna cubia has to try to stop him otherwise Kite might find out that Cubia is the Dark Side of the Bracelet and destroy it, in otherwords stopping cubias existance period

Okay two things

1. Okay so I am figuring everyone here knows that cuia is the shodow of the bracelet but all of the phases have the bracelet too so what about that?

2. My threry... cubia is trying to protect aura and after she was separated it came and seeing how kite had the same power as the phases (i.e. datadrain.) it see's him as a threat to aura's exsitince. It probably could just be a bad thery but it is credible... I think
