:B But yeah, you all made points about the way Mia speaks, and the fact that she has femimine features. :O So it could be anything, remember. In the World, you control the character, so you would talk how you normally would IRL, you wouldn't change the way you speak.
Sort of like roleplaying online, I roleplay guys. o_O; And I only act like them when I'm IC, actually roleplaying. Though the World is a RPG, the characters you make aren't based off others, so you can't really GO in character, when there is no particular way you character acts, you have to choose.
i typicaly refer to people as what ever gendor their sprite is in game. as for Mia, after having a long drawn out disution about the cat vs bunny issue i have desided that she is ::grumble:: a cat. but i think she made the sprite to look like a bunny becouse Sieg likes bunny girls.
now i havent finnished the game BUT! i was thinking that for a hacked character she starts off at a VERY low level, how do we know some one didnt eddit her sprite and not tell her? does she ever make comment about not haveing a standard sprite?
i am reminded of the like "as long as you know its there it the same as seeing it right?"

Okay, i've inspected Mia's entire body about 9 times now using the First person view in the game, and theres a rumor in a chat room saying in the parody mode if you move mia close to the watre at Mac Anu and look in the water you can see her making female gestures, yes i said her ^_^
I have to say I agree with the spoon theory...in the long run, Mia's gender isn't going to matter much, in the fansubs of Hack Ueden for instance, Morgana is refered to as "HIM"..don't know if that's a particular choice, but I think that Mia's gender is SUPPOSED to be ambivalent...
Er. Morgana isn't in .hack//Udeden, and if you're referring to //SIGN, the genders in the fansubs of that are so screwy I hardly know what to believe >_> Also, Mia is something of a female name, and thirdly, she has breasts >_>;
