.hack//Dusk anime release announced

Which can be seen as a bad, or good thing... had the series been longer they would have been able to add more character development, and possibly been able to follow the manga more closely... on the other hand, I don't know if I could handle 26 episodes of constant "ONI-CHAN!" "RENAAA!!!!" "RARE ITEM RARE ITEM!"

I believe that the manga is better than the anime version.

P.S. Only one volume on DVD?

Nope, there will be more, but only the first volume's release date has been announced.

Only bootlegs offer 12 episodes onto DvD. >_>; Surely to make more money, they'll seperate it into 3 or 6 DvD's...

I'm guessing it will probably be a 2 DVD series... possibly 3 if they can find some nifty special things to put into the last one.

Well Digimon had 13 episodes on one DVD (and it wasn't bootleg!)....but that's different! Chances are they'll be like 6 DVDs.

If a third DVD comes out, it will probably a "director's cut" volume.

Unless each episode is 1 hour long and thete are 2 episodes per volume, 6 DVDs will NOT come out.

Yea, I downloaded the fansubs too... but now that they're coming out in the U.S. you really should buy them, I am. The more people that buy .hack stuff outside of Japan, the more likely Bandai will be to release more stuff!
