That Lycoris is only data fragment, not the AI Lycoris herself. Lycoris is still a field in The World, just like what she becomes at the end of AI Buster. What she talks about with Shuugo and Xefi is about a 'better ending', because what she had with Albireo is quite a bad one. That's what I got from my friend.

Shuugo has met Aura a long time ago. After SIGN, and probably before Zero. But because he is bullied by his calssmates for playing the world or sumthin like that, he discontinued playing, and started a life without video games.

Aura is now the "God" of The World, for she is the only being in The World that has power over the system. For her to become the perfect AI, she needs to experience maternal role, so YamiJared is more or less right. Xefi is created for that purpose, because she is still small, Aura chose a guide for her, the one who will play the role of a "hero" for her (similar to her having Tsukasa and Curl in the past). And that is Shuugo. Aura has planned this since she met Shuugo in the past. Their connection with Blackrose is only a coincidence.

woah, that explains a lot, but wait, Lycoris became a field, as in, she turned into a landscape? woah! but there's another question, obviously Aura held the contest for the avatars under CC Corp's name, Shugo's avatar is obvious, but why did Rena need a Blackrose avatar? and here's something, if Aura needs a maternal role, what about a romantic one? Aura should have a "Prince"

*imagines another saga where a new kid is trapped in the World and connected to a male Aura figure, and to wake him up, Aura (in her awoken SIGN form) must kiss him on the lips, cuteness

I never really got a full translation of .hack//Zero (the one with the red girl in the dress, cant remember title, I think its zero) I only got like the first 2 chapsters... can anyone post a link or mabe translate it ^^;;;)

it's .hack//AI Buster, ZERO is another book entirely, and EVERYONE has THOSE chapters, i could translate it, but im lazy, and there is no site at all with a full translation, god why don't these lazy people get off their butts and translate it themselves if they want it so bad >.> *grumble*

kinda bringing yourself down there aren't you?
We have people who are willing to translate it, but they want money... and we have none. Last i checked, there was someone on here who was working on a translation of one of the novels... hmm, who was that???
anyway, I've yet to get my hands on a copy of...well... any of the books, not that I'd be much help if I did.

BTW, Thanks for the summary there Brad, I can't wait until Vol. 3 comes out over here. but whats all this November talk? I thought it was being released in August. For all I know I could be in in another country in November

. I guess one of you will have to mail me a copy.

If only I could read Japanese, I would translate it... But none of the schools in my city teach the language... Are there any free lessons online, or do I have to get a book from the library?

Japanese isn't something you can pick up overnight. Especially reading it Shipp-- i mean, Ender. If you're old enough, you may be able to attend a Japanese-learning class in your town. Try looking in your phone book for a class. But remember, Japanese is a difficult language, and it requires devotion, just like everything else.

Unfortunately, I'm NOT old enough to even get a job ^_^ I'm only 14...

I'll just check out a book at the library... BTW, you're right about learning languages. You can't learn one overnight (I've been taking French for over a year, and it still looks like nonsense...) It would probably take me about a few months to learn it, but what the heck - it's already the end of the school year on Friday (yay!)

Yep. After Albireo Stabbed her (or slashed?) with Wotan Spear, she becomes a field

Rena practically doesn't need a Blackrose Avatar. Rena getting that is only a bait from Aura to make Shuugo play again, using Kite's avatar. she seems to know Rena's connection with Shuugo.

ah yes, that would be cute XD I guess Shuugo fits that role, since the final pictue of UdeDen 3 is Xefi and Aura kissing shuugo XD and Rena getting pissed about that ^^;; Like Father, mother and child, ne Xb

A bit off topic, .hackers avatar won by Shuugo and Rena, it's made by someone of the system (Aura) and was given to the player in the name of CC Corp, Wotan Spear is similar to that. It actually was created by Morganna, and was given to Albireo, and was handed down to Kamui. It seems like CC Corp can't delete it, and it strangely has the abilities to delete AIs. CC Corp claimed that it was an item they made, though.

Wotan Spear is destroyed by Hotaru's puchiguso at the end. The time when Albireo resigned from CC is 4 years ago, around ZERO time, supposedly. He resigned because he can't solve the Tsukasa case, and felt responsible for that.
