you are correct, they really did translate her name to Orca. Or at least "Orca, the divine fist"Kite wrote:I don't collect the US releases, did they seriously translate Ouka's name to Orca? O.o;
I wouldn't actually blame CC2 for the translation error (I don't think they had much of a hand in it).
Thankfully Bandai is not required to use TokyoPop's (mis)naming conventions.
You're only young once, but you're NEVER too old to be immature.
LOL XD I always think of Balmung dressed as a monk and completely drunk at a bar whenever I think of "Barmunk"... And somehow it's amusing to no end.Invisible Egg! wrote:Hmm... "Bar Monk"? I thought monks weren't supposed to go to bars.![]()
I'm just glad they kept it as Balmung. x____x Otherwise I would have to kick somebody. the Ouka/Orca thing is bad enough...

Isn't there only 2 volumes of the manga? I only saw 2 at Otakon... But Tokyopop lists 3, I bet they're breaking it up for more $$... but in either case, it's too short of a run to fix those names, you know? But then again, look at Initial D and it's name changes
Stupid Tokyopop, learn from Dark Horse

Don't you mean, that you hope it will be gone. T_TCRtwenty wrote:I'm waiting for the rerelease of the first one, so that lousy translation error will be gone.
