Huh? I wasn't referring to this topic. @.@;;Elk_capsule_figure wrote:if it's about Ouka's name... why is it in the games section?

I was referring to this one.... You should of known that. ^^;;

Yeah, it may seem odd, but I don't think they'd be slapped together for that pairing to work. There's a friendship between them and that's the basis for all relationships.Duskino wrote:For me, it's one thing when you have a yaoi couple that would actually be a good couple. It's another when people start slapping people together that really makes you wonder...
Elk x Kite makes me wonder. o.o;
If they were to actually be a couple, it'd be AU and could only exist if something irreparable were to first occur to Mia. And what happens when Elk realizes she can never physically exist? From there you would need to develop them over time. As it now stands, they aren't a couple. But that's where fanfics come in.
While I'm in favor of Kite x Elk, I also LOVE Mia x Elk. However, it's fun to envision situations that aren't real. It's fun to imagine. And Kite x Elk allows that while Mia x Elk does not.
But like I said, you really can't just throw them together "as is." You have to develop the pairing until it seems natural.
Besides, does anyone really care that Elk is in love with a humanoid cat. Apparently, that's more socially acceptable than yaoi. That's odd.
Barring screaming fangirl input, yaoi is, in fact, very cute. Aside from Kite, are there any other yaoi pairings for Elk?
EDIT: Btw, Duskino, LOVE the image!!! "Very Happeh" roflmao!

Uh-huh... seems more like an explantation over Yaoi-ness here.
Anyways...I dont see why Kite and Blackrose shouldnt meet,I think they should at the end of the games.See nothing wrong with that,they kinda seem to live close by.

What's odd about Elk being in love with Mia? There is nothing wrong with that. Nor is there anything wrong with yaoi. You know, "To each his own...".s8Riot wrote: Besides, does anyone really care that Elk is in love with a humanoid cat. Apparently, that's more socially acceptable than yaoi. That's odd.

I was just saying that to prove my point that if people can see Elk and Mia, then why shouldn't they have a mind open enough to be able to see Elk in a yaoi situation?Rubedo wrote:What's odd about Elk being in love with Mia? Then again, "To each his own" is absolutely correct.
To be honest, there's nothing wrong with the relationship Elk shares with Mia . . . it's just that . . . why can't there be a fifth game so we can see more of them!? >.<;

Lots of people seem to use anime as their outlet for creating all sorts of unrealistic relationships. A 12 year old and an AI cat ... I've heard stranger. And I'm a crazy yaoi fanboy, so maybe I'm just used to it. Really, the only time when I *dislike* yaoi (or any other matchmaking) is when the characters in question are already canonically involved with someone. After a while you just start turning it into your own little show - Tsukasa/Ginkan (I actually read this once!) isn't .hack//SIGN. It's ... something else ...

Speaking of couples, I've always thought Balmung and Terajima make a great couple. They both have wings, are very polite (Balmung sorta) and they sometimes talk in shakespearean manner. I guess an angel pairing is sorta cute --_--
Another cool couple would be Sanjuro and Gardenia. They'd be uber rocking, with their l337 attacks and kickass style.

With a yaoi pairing involving an already romantically/canonically involved character, it's not so bad if the author of a fanfic develops a reason for that relationship to fail and for a new one to begin. But it has to be a realistic situation.
And then there is the bane of all yaoi . . . the marty stu. Ugh.
