Yeah, I guess so, but I have better things to do with my time than kill some bugs.

i think being DD'ed would feel like being either clobbered like a bug or being eaten from the inside and everything returns execpt for 1 thing ....

What makes everyone think it actually hurts? I see why it hurt Tsukasa but I dont see Why it would really hurt anyone else. Kites DD is strong enough to put people in comas but the guardians just pretty much kills them.

I don't think it would 'hurt'.

For a monster, you're just bascially re-writting its data. As for a normal PC... well... you'd probably feel something... o_O;

Yea you might feel something I agree but I dont think it would feel like you were a bug being crushed by a ten-ton hammer.

Well exept in tsukasa's case you can't feel pain in THE WORLD, yes tsukasa's guardian dos go out side of sistem ruls, but i don't think it gos that far.

This goes to Liminality.. where they talk about what's inside that is outside... I keep forgetting how it goes.. because Tsukasa was a good example of Liminality.

I don't think it would hurt a PC physically. Data Drain is basically a controlled version of Deadly Flash. It causes a the players screen to flash so intensely that it can cause comas. if it feels like anything at all I'd say it would be similar to having a ceisure (because thats really whats happening to you), shortness of breath...etc. Imagine Tokuoka in //LIMINALITY 1... he wasn't in any pain.

Okay, I am going to have to enter the fray.

Let's look at this from a philosophical point of veiw (everyone prepare to be confused).

Say you were actually inside 'The World' like Tsukasa. Everything that you feel is the same basis of reality. In other words, if you are like Tsukasa then you end up having 'The World' be your new reality. As a result of such you could feel pain and your senses would work just like they normally would.

So how do you think it would feel if you were Data Drained?
I, personally, think it would feel like every single muscel inside your body exploding over and over again until there was nothing left of you then you are mearly thrown into an eternity of darkness where you are helpless, alone and there is nothing there but you and a empty void.

Ok, so it puts some flash on the screen that puts you in a coma? Ok then I don't quite understand how it would hurt exept for your eyes. I could be wrong, it may actually hurt, but I'm not sure a flash would hurt but I guess I can see how it could hurt, yeah. But if you really think about it I dont think a "flash" would really hurt that much unless it did something to your system in your body. If that is the case,yes, then it would hurt.

yeah, the flash sent out a signal thingie to your pancreas which then made bad stuff happen.

that's because it was like a 'junkier' version of the Data Drain. THe guardian's data drain only causes amnesia and temporary unconciousness.
