whats with elk and mia and aromatic grass
I think affection lvl affects how the AI is used. The more you spend time with your friends, the less dependent they will be on you (in the game) What I'm saying is, if your players trust you, then they will start to work as a team and buy their own items and stuff.

So how do you get affection lvl.'s up? And do they have to be the same people in your party every time?En der wrote:I think affection lvl affects how the AI is used. Anyway, where were we? Oh yeah, kboy7 affection levels are how you find out how much a certian character trusts you as a friend. The affection levels raise as you spend more time with them or give them things that they would like.
This ends my act of judgement and advise....
For now.

"Jill, this is for you."
"Jill, this is for you."
Okay... all of you, cut it out. It's not only that the joke has been beat into the ground so much... but we also don't need such outrageous reactions toTsunami the Silver Dragon wrote:36o wrote:at one point Mia Gets all high & sh.it cuz i gave her too much Aromatic Grass. she ended up gettin' lost & sh.it. but if u give her or Elk Aromatic Grass it raises their Affection Level by 100.

jokes and whatnot.
And 36o, stop avoiding trying to cut through the language censoring here, or I will start censoring your posts personally.

That's not happening for me. I have everyone's affection maxed out, and Moonstone and BlackRose still charge off by themselves as soon as they see a monster. Also, the only things they buy are the basic healing items like Antidotes and Health Drinks, which is something they've all been doing from the very start.En der wrote:I think affection lvl affects how the AI is used. *hope i dont get in trouble for this*
they charge off because of the type of plan u tell them to do (sounds like wonder battle) they always have those items, its like a last resort type of thing, they use their skills first.
Yes, but while that plan is in effect, certain characters will almost always charge off as soon as Battle Mode begins (BlackRose) and others will almost always hang back until a monster gets really close to them or until Kite moves in (Balmung). They do this regardless of affection. Affection doesn't make BlackRose any more of a team player; you have to take care of that yourself by giving orders.mvrckbass wrote:*hope i dont get in trouble for this*

I was trying to say that affection does not influence the items they purchase. They stock up on the basics when they run low, but they never do more than that.mvrckbass wrote:they always have those items, its like a last resort type of thing, they use their skills first.
Really? I'm just starting the fourth game and they buy all the better stuff. You sure there affection lvl.'s are maxed out?Deimos wrote:That's not happening for me.
