in a way yes, she had evovled to that she becomes "omnipresent" but Aura is able to DD her (through the phases) and becomes the ultimate AI

Yeah but all I see Aura doing is sleeping (.hack//Sign) and running away (Games and .hack//LOTT)

thats because he cant DD and morganna wants to keep her from awakening in the show and since she awakens in the end she tries to kill her in the games

age has nuttinto do with it. just like Morganna was the "mother", Aura could have just "digitized" another AI but this is getting WAYYY off topic
