And hey, if I can go around Chinatown screaming obsene words and recording me and my friends riding those 25 cent machines in public, I have nothing to worry about XD; As long as you have a good time you shouldn't worry. <3

I do a lot of guy costumes! Kurapika, Elk, Claude, Kane Blueriver... I think there's someone else, but I just can't remember ^^;

Yeah tee-hee. I hope my Tsuka-kun costume comes out okay. This is my first attempt at this. =D I have not the slightest clue on how to make that staff. xD

Don't get discouraged - practice makes perfect after all, ne? I've tried my hand at cosplaying... once.

Never again - I just don't have the time or money for it, but if you can even get a modest costume made, its definately worth the effort.

It does take a lot out of you. $$ wise and physical.. for me at least, because I have to walk all around the NYC to find any stores to browse in for stuff. xD; I hope it comes out good though, I have until August (even though I plan on making a costume of Ceres from Ayashi No Ceres before then too) for it so hopefully I can come up with some good ideas for the staff. xD;

Make the staff out of a shower curtain rod and paper mache. It really does work. Be sure to use foam and wire for support of the shape at the top!

I only cosplayed once, as Aerith from Final Fantasy VII...and that was techically a Halloween costume. ^^; One of my best friends back then dressed up as Tifa. It was fun, even though virtually nobody recognized us. >.>; It was a good Aerith costume, though. Too bad I lost a lot of pieces to it...
