Nah.. The hard drive dying is actually a somewhat common thing with that drive histoically apparently. Power may have had nothing to do with it.

As soon as my CD burner starts working again, I'm gonna burn my 37.8 gigs of anime to discs and delete them from my comp so I can speed it up.

I have detected and removed many viruses without the use of a virus scanner... If you know what to look for, their not had to find... There are 8-9 different ways to have something start up with your computer depending on the windows version... Most viruses store info in at least 3 of those places...

I've found the secret for happy computing thayt everyone should follow... ^_^

Buy somehting for your computer every few months. This will keep it happy and it should run well for you ^_^ it does for me.

But they always seem to be happy... well exept for Trogdor... he likes to spark the front LEDs sometimes (they are broken)... he burninated a pice of paper once...

Everyone names their computers ^_^ I'm quite fond of Sakura (Pipian's name for his computer) thats a cool name... but Trogdor is quite cool... I do all my C programming with him... the paper he burninated was my schedule for my classes my first week of college... ^_^ if I hadn't entered the information into my PDA i would have been so lost... (PDA= Palm device... in my case a Sony Clie)

I want a Clie! ;_; I have a Sony Vaio laptop with a port for the memory sticks. With that in mind, I'm thinking of getting a sony digicam and a clie so that I can make use of that option that I've got available.

I had a PDA once. Then it got destroyed. Now my younger brother has both a PDA and an old laptop. I have... >.> Nothing like that.
