The climax is the main plot or conflict of a story. .hack//OUTBREAK is that part. The falling action and the resolution are in .hack//QUARENTINE. If you have ever done a plot piramid you will know what am I talking about
It's probably that in Outbreak, you discover the problem, or it just gets worse, or whatever, and in the fourth disk, you kick some arse and fix everything n.n I don't see why it's surprising.
Like Helba said, it's the whole plot pyramid thing o_o
Well, as this thread is about personal opinions, I have stated mine. It seems that the word "climax" is poorly understood by some people.
point of greatest intensity
... from dictionary.com people.
Anyone care to show me the Holy Plot Pyramid? I'm afraid this new-fangled English Class educational device was conceived after I finished school. Is it like Maszlow’s Hierarchy of Needs? Or is it more like The Great Pyramid, 'cuz I used to frikkin' live in Cairo!
Obviously, game four can be considered the "resolution." However, there are various points of climax all throughout .hack, I'd say the huge turning point in the story is when Balmung takes his clothes off but that never happens so what I mean is: there is no point of intensity in the plot. It just... "flows" like a river. There's no real dramatic or overly energetic part or overly intense scene I could seriously say ANYONE including the creators wold have the right to call the story's climax. If anything, the "climax" in which everything is revealed is the end of .hack//Absolute Encirclement, and the resolution is within .hack//Udeden; Manga, of course.
and god said unto cain, "wow you're pretty stupid."
