Helba IRL: Male or female?

This was at the exact same time CCCorp came into being and and they blamed the problem on they boy who was a hacking prodgey.

Er no, Altinet was the one who came out on top after Pluto's Kiss, and is the Company who many believe actually created the Virus. CCorp is the game design company who created The World, and runs the servers of the game, which are designed for the Altinet OS.

And I don't recall hearing anything about the kid him/herself, just that he/she was an elementary school student. I just think that it would make sense if that kid actually WAS Helba...

My Theories: (In order of my Belief)
1. Helba is the Kid who was blamed for Pluto's Kiss
2. Helba is an avatar of sorts for a group of Hackers (Including Kiro no Bito AKA Bith the Black, AKA several other names)
3. Helba is an independent Hacker who has several contacts in the Hacker Community
4. Helba is that woman who saved Yuki in Liminality 2 (I don't personally believe it, so it's at the bottom of my list)

I also heard that Helba is actually Harold's brother... o.o;; I beleive that more than Helba being a group of people.

Uhm, wouldn't it also be pretty obvious that kid would've been arrested and/or imprisoned or whatever? If your blamed for an internet blackout in an entire world practically revolving around it, makes you wonder WTF you're sentence would be.

But it was a kid! I doubt they'd imprison an elementary school kid for life, so s(he) could still be free...

They probably would...

For a kid to be able to do something like that, they have to be pretty smart. I know I can't just "accidentally" input something in my computer to cause such chaos. I don't think they'd throw them in jail and throw away the key for a kid, but they would keep them somewhere, at least.

Helba being the OL in Lim... it has a possibility, actually. She was there in the blackout, not looking panic (if she's Helba, that'll be because she knows that there will be a blackout), she can find Yuki, one of Tokuoka's party, and lead the way out of the building (have done a proper research?).... even if she (said) she works there, it's just too good of a coincidence that she met with Yuki, rite? ^^;

IMO Helba's IRL will never be revealed, and I believe that Bandai and CC wants to keep it mistery forever ^^; In Encyclo, Helba's the only one that's marked with '?' for her real world image (not male image or female image).

Personally, I think Helba is, in fact, a female. Just listen to her comments to Lios in the second .hack game. Definately a hint of feminism. And it's probably not a group. Or, at least, Helba isn't a group. She might belong TO a group. But I think Helba herself is one person.

As for her being the person in Lim 2... maybe. It's possible. Is there a timeline for the Lim events to the game events? I know Lim 1 happens sometime in the middle of the first game, because you see Sieg while you play. But I'm not sure if the disaster in Lim2 is because of Cubia's birth or the end, where you defeat Magus. I mean, if it was at the end, I doubt it's Helba, because she was logged on at the time.

On the other hand, she might have been logged on in the theator. *shrug*

Because she was telling the truth, and recognized Yuki from her (Yuki's) Sister's Wedding.
