Their physical bodies went into comas while their mind stayed in the game. That's how you get "stuck" in "The World". Of course, this is just fantasy, so don't try to make too much sense out of it.

You know that feeling where your sitting in front of your TV, and you finally realize that you are watching TV, and you've been druling a little. When your head gets so immersed into something you forget everthing else around you.

I suppose it's something like that. Except your body is disconnected while your head is in the game.

You could also presume that your spirit could get projected into a game, by means of meditation, such as in the TV scenario.

Or you could just call it presence competition. When what you're doing has nothing to do with where you are. Like when people driving on the road while using a cell phone, very dangerous if you forget that you're driving.

Well, as far as that goes. Meditation is just focusing your mind on something, making everything else disappear. I hate doing that when I'm driving. I start thinking about something, and all of a sudden I'm driving 10 miles per hour under the limit and everyone's trying to get around me. It's irritating.

Anyways, the whole entering a computer system is more like astral projection. It's all messed up, but makes for a good story line.

I get "stuck" on purpose a lot! It's not really that bad. As Nebu said, yes, playing games and watching great shows like .hack//SIGN are ways I get away from reality. *sigh* I'm sorry if I worried anyone.

Lol. I think of someone being wide eyed drueling, who won't wake up. What a way to spend the summer! Oh yeah, I spent the first month in a trance while I was fed introveniously! My parents would have thrown out that game if that ever happened.

Oh well. I meant to include books in a list of things I get "stuck" in. Plus, I'm currently at a three week math course at Vanderbilt College, Nashville, TN. I don't have enough free time to drool a lot (just kidding! I don't drool unless I'm asleep.)
