Well most the //SIGN music can either A. be purchased in soundtrack form with the limited edition DVDs or B. downloaded on this good old communication system known as the iinternet. I'd suggest Kazaa because I've already gotten like 19 tracks of them.

I bought the cd's, .hack//EXTRA LIMINALITY, and .hack//LIMNALITY (original soundtrack). The music is fantastic. There are two other cd's i'm getting, I'm not exactly sure what the title is, .hack//SIGN (original soundtrack) and another one with Lady Subaru on the cover. I bought them unopened on eBay for...I think is was $19.00 for 2. Good deal I think :) There are other places, though they charge more.

Track Listing for ".hack//LIMINALITY Orignal Soundtrack:

1.liminality #1
2.sweet memories
3.grandpa's violin
4.suspicion
5.comfort
6.tokuoka
7.liminality #2
8.mai
9.epitaph
10.humiliation
11.school days
12.liminality #3
13.talkin' about mystery
14.didn't know but it was love
15.friendship
16.unforgettable
17.sweet memories #2
18.together
19.illegal entry
20.liminality #full version
"bonus tracks"
21.one thousand and one nights
22.*karaoke version
23.edge tv-edit
24.sea of twilight tv-edit
25.edge
26.sea of twilight
27.edge karaoke version
28.sea of twilight karaoke version
(I've used the english names for the songs that are titled in japanese, only of which are 2 songs, one thousand and one nights and sea of twilight)

Hope this helped :) sorry for it being so long...this is for only one cd o.o

Psst..... no! bad!!! baaaad!

You could look online at stores like barnes&noble or something like that for the soundtracks; but if you're going to a convention anytime soon, keep an eye out.

Also pirated material is not to be discussed here.

I found .hack//SIGN ost 1 so far at SunCoast. They had a whole shelf of them for like $12. Also I think I may have seen it over at GameStop. But I haven't looked since I got it at SC.

Sora Said and I Quote:

This is not the place for it. I do not want to see it. I don't think the other mods want to see it either. It is illegal and it is known as piracy. I will not allow it happen here, and any posts about such topics will be deleted without warning. This is serious, mind you... Because we are on the good graces of anime companies, that we are even allowed the generosity of having fansubs in the United States. If they decide they don't like it, they can start sending seist and desists to these fansubbers as well... But they look over it because technically, it's not doing them any harm. It's promoting a series they have in Japan.

However... Companies in the US are different. These are people who are paying large amounts of money to bring a series out in the US for the general American public to view at their own leisure. Some of these companies are even making an effort to put some of what we're getting on the big screen.

If you pirate anime from them, you are taking money away from the company, and making it that much harder to bring other things to the US. By this, you are hurting the anime industry in the United States.

Sorry for the lecture, but this is one I've heard a long time ago, and I want to see more new series make it stateside. I don't want to lose these good graces... especially the good graces that we have through Bandai and Cyberconnect to treat the fans as nicely as they do (The Japanese CC webpage actually posts fanart. There are not many companies that do that, now are there? n.n).

Let's keep the fan community going strong, and keep the commercial support for it strong. Thank you.

Problem is, those are bootlegs, I believe, as are 99% of the supposedly Japanese CDs you see on eBay.

If a japanese CD is less than $25 (excepting singles) it's probably a bootleg. Singles can be as cheap as about... $15.

I dead serious when I said I bought it for $12 plus tax at Suncoast. It's .hack//SIGN Volume 1, and it's the actual CD. Its not copied, and Suncoast aint a retail store to sell bootlegs.

Well, Bandai (among other companies) sometimes do release US OSTs. When I worked at Suncoast, I picked up several.

..... Does the CD have an outline of Mimiru sitting down with blue on the rest and the logo?
