Liminality DVD Easter Eggs

Post by Hema »

Jerec brought this up, and I don't see a post from anyone explaining this, so I will ^.^

Accessing the DVD Secrets:
Liminality #1 DVD-
Click on "Data"
Bring the cursor (the thing that highlights each option on the screen o.o) down to "main".
Then, press the "right" d-pad button on your control.
The DVD will stop suddenly, then resume, making your cursor vanish.
Once it's gone, press the "left" d-pad button twice, or until you are taken to a different screen.
This will access the official .hack timeline.

Liminality #2 DVD:
Again, click on "Data"
Then, bring the cursor down to, "Character Art Gallery"
Press the "right" d-pad button on the control, and you will not be able to move the cursor anywhere, click on it.
You will see the ALTIMIT symbol appear, then you are taken to another screen.
There are spoilers there so be careful.

And candy clouds of lullaby

And watch my purple sky fly over me"

Nice work. How long did it take you to find both of those?

Oh, and is the timeline on the first .hack//Liminality DVD the same one that they give on the second .hack//SIGN DVD?

Actually, a whole lot of DVDs contain hidden secrets like that. Why they don't just give them to you, I'm not sure, but it gives you something to work for. Or, for lazy people like me, it gives you something to hope for other people to find.

I had found this out when I was bored and just kept pressing different buttons on the remote. I then later read abut the "Easter Eggs" at some website and then also heard that other dvd's contain them on the news. I bet volumes 3 and 4 will have them ^.^

Now that I know about the Easter Eggs in the first two volumes, I'll probably be disappointed if there aren't any in volumes 3 and 4. Happy hunting to everyone when they come out, too. Now I need to start messing around with my .hack//SIGN DVDs and see if I can find anything on those...
