Preventing Aura from Awakening
So Morgana tied Tsukasa's soul to Aura, and being the severely depressed person Tsukasa is, Aura would not have a chance to wake up.. at least that's what Morgana thought. But others (Bear, Subaru, Mimiru, Krim) became his friends which gave him the desire to return to the real world. Morgana isn't that dim-witted and probably saw it coming... (in ep 12, she tells Tsukasa the story of the Mermaid princess to try to remind him of the despicable reality outside.. and in ep 20, seeing how he and Subaru are starting to bond closely, she unleashes her all her power to torment him both physically and psycologically to hold him down.)
Was it too late for Morgana to select another person (depressed and running from reality) as Tsukasa's replacement? What prevented her from kicking Tsukasa out and finding someone else to take his place in hopes of keeping Aura asleep? Even though Morgana was the master AI of The World, she had to abide by certain rules (i.e. she didn't have the ability to completely obliterate Aura..)

well, she tied Tsukasa's brains to aura, and if she un-bonded her brain, then for a little while Aura would be on free will while she finds another person to teather to Aura. I think that she as Skeith was chasing Aura in //infection because she had no one to tie to her, so she ran free.

After Morganna disposed of Tsukasa, she said sumthin to maha "We don't need him anymore" But why? doesn she need someone to tie aura? I don't know if this is correct but... I think she choose Sora to tie Aura meanwhile, as she was doing the same thing as she did to tsukasa (giving sora the guardian)

Well, when she said she needed Tsukasa, Aura was floating on top of that bed. However, after she freaks him into a coma inside the game (while he pokes out the eyes of the bear), she moves Aura to that upside-down vortex and Aura starts looking like a virus is eating her. The thing with the feet? Weird.
Maybe she doesn't need Tsukasa anymore because by keeping Aura in this new place, she'll eventually vanish altogether.

I don't think so.
Remember, while Tsukasa is all depressed and sad Aura is getting eaten away. But once Bear and the others tell him to think differently (something like "Don't tell us how you feel...tell us how you WANT to feel"), Aura starts filling back up again. It's the episode where Tsukasa loses his Guardian--compare Aura in the beginning of the episode and Aura at the end of the episode when Maha checks on her.
Also, if Tsukasa wasn't still connected to Aura somehow, how did he make her wake up by just wanting her to?
More likely, I think she said that she didn't need Tsukasa anymore in order to manipulate him further into thinking that he was useless, or something along those lines.

Well it certainly seems that Aura is tied to Tsukasa in a way that she becomes warped off of negative energy, and once Tsukasa began to cheer up Aura began to heal, thus Morganna went after Subaru and if she got her Tsukasa would be sad all over again and Aura would not awaken, however her plans back fired.
I also think Tsuaksa was chosen because of depressing lifestyle which was perfect for a negative person to warp Aura. [I'm assuming all of this has been stated at leats once, just putting it here for this person to note. ^_^]
This is also all my opinion not fact. ^_^

True indeed but it's certianly obvious that Tsukasa's negative 'energy' if you would influences the way Aura ends up, thus she wen't after Subaru in the last few episodes, trying to get to Tsukasa, correct?Rhyste wrote:Tsukasa was chosen because he wouldn't want to log out... depressing life style...? No, not really. If you think about it, Aura didn't turn dark until after Tsukasa's mind was warped and Morgana did her Wrath of God crap on him.
Doesn't Aura begin warping earlier on, shortly after Tsukasa "found" her? As I recall, she was at first a pure white but quickly began turning purple (psychadelic!).

Yes, when the Voice tells Tsukasa to "embue her with his color" that's when Aura starts darkening.
This is when I believe the Voice connected Tsukasa to Aura, btw. So yes, Tsukasa's emotions negatively affected Aura even then.
Just not enough for the Voice's liking, so she tried to push things along a bit.
