I think i found Bears real name (good lead this time)

i looked over the ep.'s of .hack sign to recooperate for my lack of information thus far, and tell me if im wrong but im sure that Bear's name is Ryu Sakuma. i found this because in the opening of #23 eve, there is a full ashtray (bear smokes--- in i think #3 or 4 you see a man holding a cigarette leaving a hospital, where we assume tsukasa is) and in the opening to Eve there is also a script for a story Annwn: Gaiden. we also know Bear is a novelist. this may be a real book he was just reading for leasure, oh i hope im not wrong again... ive been wrong so many times already, but im working really hard on this :3

Exactly. As far as a I know, Tokuoka doesn't have a World character. Remember, just because two people smoke doesn't mean they're the same person. Especially since they have two completely different jobs.

yeah, this is shown because he uses Tomina's charector Sieg, instead of his own, yea i just figured them showwing the ashtray was a way of hinting at who he was IRL
