ok, in a previous thread it was stated that Balmung's wings are funcional, as seen when he flys into Net Slum, or a part of the 2nd liminality intro. Several now locked threads were talking about how many hand movements and the such shown in .hack//sign cannot be used in the game, due to limiataions on the controller (not enough buttons.) Then how would Balmung go about flying? There's no jump button, and i'm sure that he didn't recieve a special modified controller just for flying. CONSPIRACY!!!!!

yea i guess so but
balmung still goes around trying to make peace i think thats why he joined orca to try and stop what ever was going on
Wait, wait.
If Balmung really *did* work for CC Corp in the past, then why couldn't he have a special controller made just for him?
If he didn't work for them ... well. I've got an idea that Rhyste might kill me for. If you see her, I was never here.
How much do we really know about dear Balmung-san in real life? If one accepts the idea that flight is impossible using a normal controller, then that would seem to imply that he doesn't *need* one ...
Could Balmung, in fact, be an AI?

Kamui!!! x_x;;;
He does work with CC in dusk; but I honestly think he uses them for gliding instead of flying.
*makes little Balmung Doll out of random action figure & makes him stand on a high place, & then glide back down.*
...in other words, he glides down in super coolness & such.
I'd imagine that Balmung's flying ability can be turned on/off in a menu of some sort. When Kite performs Data Drain, does he press a button with that sole purpose? No, he uses the menu. It's probably the same way for Balmung.
