Daveigh Chase isn't cute enough to be Aura imo.
Natalie Portman would make a perfect Subaru or BT. Subaru would be great because she holds leadership and Portman has played a role similar to that: Padme' Amidala

Can't you just picture her hair like Subaru and just put some tiny little wings on her back.

Amy Allen would make an exelent Helba!

Heck she's even got the same chin! XD

Nicole Kidman would do a great BT ... and the geometrical love thing with Crim/Ewan McGregor would would be easy, since they already did that in Moulin Rouge.
Haley Joel Osment might be good as Tsukasa, too. He does "traumatized victim" well.
I *love* the idea of Audrey Tautou (Amelie) playing Subaru! She'd be *perfect*! (Goes into little happy dance) Though she might look odd with blue hair ... hmm.

Balmung... no one can be Balmung. If they had .hack//SIGN movie, his appearance is so insignificant that they'd cut it out totally.

Well they could have Balmung play a bigger role you know. He's much more involved in .hack//Tasogare no Udewa Densetsu. So I don't see why they might not have him play a bigger role. That is if they ever do make a .Hack movie. which I doubt but it's still fun to dream.
