I have a very low opinion of TokyoPop, cause of the whole Orca/Ouka thing. So I'd prefer if another company translated the .hack novels... though really I'll take what I can get, I've been wanting to read them forever!

they only problem is that they put "Kaos Gate" instead of "Chaos gate"

True. Tokyopop really does make some glaring errors that really aren't favorable to the general audience...

I think my number one choice to translate and publish the .hack novels would be Viz. Vertical, Inc. isn't really suited for that sort of thing. They really only like to publish "mature" books. n.n;;;;

I meant in your first post. ^^;;

Anyways.

But if Tokyopop keeps in the .hack//AI Buster preview in Vol. 2 of the manga. Wouldn't that cause problems for another company doing the translation?

*Cough cough* I actually heard some very unusual rumors on another board somewhere that Tokyopop is doing the novels as we speak. I could look up the post if you guys want to. They don't say anything about it on their website though. Anyway, Tokyopop does everything from manga, to novels, to DVDs. They have a submission thing going for anyone that wants to contribute a sample of manga, music they wrote, or writing that they want published. So I think that there is hope, even though Tokyopop are losers and idiots who messed up some of the easiest translationsi in the world. But i don't care as long as I read the novels, really. I've been dying to find out what happens. T_T Wish I knew Japanese. Anyway, the rumors say that they're working on all of the novels, including .hack//ZERO. But again, it's just a rumor. Why don't we all go and pester them about it through e-mail or make a petition? ^_^;

I was just gonna hurl a rock through their window, but sure, I guess that'd work. I'll probably go blind, or confused, berzerk, poisoned, or turned into a frog, if I spend too much time reading crazy stuff like Beowulf anyway.

The .hack manga is part of .hack//Dusk, and as such, this belongs in the .hack//Dusk forum. ^_^ Moved.

At a mall, in a Walden books. Or at TokyoPop's site. Duh. x.x;
