How good is it?

Please I own a gamecube and I would like this game so how good is it? Is it really worth buying a playstation for this game?

I wouldnt go as far as spending the money to buy a PS2 just for .hack. Find a friend who has it

Well, i bought a PS2 just for .hack, as my old sig used to say. Then i realized the magic of DDR! It's worth it, in my opinion.

To just buy a PS2 for .hack games is pretty useless... I'd suggest you buy more games too.. Final Fantasy games & DDR is a suggestion.

If you want a game like .hack for gamecube, buy Phantasy Star Online... i think its a sim mmorpg... my friend played it

Well I read somewhere that Sony was going to start selling the PS2 at $99.00 in '03, but I dont think they will lower it that much till Jan or Feb of '04. By then they should also have all four games out (I think in a box set also?) and that would go great with a $99 PS2 IMO.

PSO is really only lasting fun if you have friends that wanna play PSO, too. It's like that Final Fantasy game for the Gamecube that is supposed to rock into alternate dimensions with its coolness, something I'd be a fool to pass up!

Now, if you wanna, go ahead and buy a PS2 for .hack. From there, grab other way cool games, and soon you'll be well on your way to being better than me! Darn you.

Yes, don't buy it for just .hack, buy it for all the other 1337 games on the PS2!

They're probably lower prices to keep up with Nintendo.. just like why they created the Handheld playstation thing... which I hope they release the original FF games and Chrono Triggar.. that'd be so cool ^_^

Wow! I would think they would wait till after X-mas to lower it to $99. Thats why I said Jan or Feb '04. Is the Xbox at $99 also?
