What is the role of the Grunity...

... is it a horse, a pet, just a character, or does it even have a purpose?

Puchiguso (I REFUSE to call them Grunties) exsist mainly for transportation. Some keep them just as a sort of imaginary pet, since you can care for them; in a way, they're just an extra part of The World.

A horse? close they're more of a pig hybrid. Their purpose is to make moving around the fields less time consuming and they are also used for trading, well at least in the games, but as for the animes they were used for riding on once as a blood hound.

They allow a person to move throughout the fields without opening portals or being attacked by monsters. They also carry rare items you can trade them for...

Also they can smell objects out on the field, and are also used in a race minigame.

I know what a Grunty is used for.. but a Grunity... that's something I've never heard of

Don't ask me how, but a lot of my friends think its a duck. Others think its a Hippo. I say its a Grunty, but they don't lisen.
