ok i heard of 3 BBS's so far people keep saying hack//FRAGMENT is going to be a MMORPG for the pc. i want to stop this rumer. any one want to help?

wow, isn't this common? Anyway, there's no way to stop it, some people believe what they choose to believe, even if they know it's wrong. It'll stop when people realize it's just not going to happen.

Well, it could... but they would have to change it around so much from the actual thing... Not to mention the server space needed, the insane amount of money they would probably be needed, and all the other goodies along with that.

Not to mention all the n00bs. *shudders* I would hate to see about 5734 different people go, "Look at me! I'M MIMIRU!!" or "Dude, I am so Balmung." o___o;

That's true, they'd have to ban all the skins that look even remotely like characters from .hack. Of course, it would be better to just have an entirely new set of skins altogether, and not base the game entirely on what we see of The World ... a *great* deal of creative liberty would be needed, really, and all the veterans would get pissed off about that. "OMG Dun Loireag is supposed to have clouds! Why aren't there any clouds!"

mm, and i don't think anyone would play, as everyone would be like, "Where the *&%( is My Data Drain????" Plus, without Data Drain it would be just another MMORPG. Nothing special or exclusive.

does the rumer invole choosing your own character? if it did then that would be cool if it was true but if it isn't which most likly it isn't o well one way or the other i don't care

you can believe me or not. Ive talk to the creator of the .hack video game series at the anime expo of 2003. He said that he wanted to finish all the games in the .hack//sign seires first and then he would get to work on a mmorpg for playstation. Although bandai has not official annonced it yet he said he was going to do it. Like i said you can believe me or not.

yeah, in serveral interviews with him, they've asked him, "So, do you think that you might actually make an online version of the .hack games?" His reply has always been, "I don't think so, because it would ruin the whole feeling of an MMORPG offline"

First off, the creator of the .hack games wasn't there. The creator of the series, .hack//sign, was. He couldn't of said he wanted to finish the games in the .hack//sign series, because; its an anime; he didn't work on the games and; its already finished with 2 specials. Oh, and next time you think up some bozo announcement, go to 2nd grade, I think they teach you grammer there.
