Question about Aura

I looked through the old topics in this folder and did a little search through the CyberSlums, but couldn't find anything relating to my question. If there's an old thread that I overlooked that does relate, I apologize. ._.

Anyway, it's been established that Aura was to replace Morganna, but how (and perhaps when) was Aura put into The World by Harold? I was thinking that she was there since The World was officially no longer a test version, but I could be wrong. Anybody know?

Aura is actually on a different server & can travel through that world you goto during a game over. (which may just be not a world of its own, but only judging by the DD-required monsters)
But I beleive Harold inputed her data into the game... but I am also confused of why she is or how she got there, but maybe she's just an on-moving AI, that travelled herself into the network.....

I think Aura s bassically there... I mean, she is a data, part of the system, and made when Harold create the Fragment/The World.

Probably sometime after Harold made Morganna. She wasn't there during Fragments, I would guess, because Licorice (sp) is the failed version of her, right? I'm sure after her failure, Harold wouldn't give up on his intentions, and thus made Aura.

... Which brings up a completely different question about Aura that'll probably change the topic of this thread ._.;;

I think that Harald originally put Lycoris in, but after her failure, he created Morganna and Aura, and placed them in The World at the same time...

Is Morganna in AI BUSTER? Cause if she is, that would completely ruin this theory...

IMO Aura was placed into the game in her coma state, and was used to gather data from the players, and the game so she could interact with them normally, Morganna was just a temporary Guardian set up to watch over her while she was asleep. And since Morganna didn't have a physical body, she would be less likely to screw up, like Lycoris did, (imo Morganna did not suffer any errors, Harald just made her too smart for her intended purpose).

I'm not sure if Morganna was in AI BUSTER, CRtwenty. I could only find summaries of the first two chapters and didn't find anything about her. I do like your theory, though.

You're wrong. Morgana wasn't a Guardian. That's the opposite !
And Morgana does have a body ! (show the 11th legend of twilight bracelet ). Morgana is the broken version of Aura and they are enemies.

Morganna is Dark Aura?? isn't it Moruti you speak about???

Morganna is the world System which got AI from players... or... mother of Aura, isn't she?

Ok then...

Morganna IS a Guardian, now she's not the weird dumbell creature Guardian, but her purpose was to watch over Aura while she was sleeping...

I've not seen AI BUSTER so I can't really get Lycoris into this anymore...

BTW Moruti is not Morganna, the //UDEDEN anime is non-canon, so nothing in it is valid in reference to the .hack material as a whole.

Her purpose is only give birth to Aura

that's why I think Aura is basically there.

Morganna is A dark version of Aura according to www.animevisions.net it states that morganna is dark aura and much much more. but my studies show that morganna is Cubia. Cubia always runs and he never wants u to get to see Aura. so if morganna is Cubia then what does this mean? what is the purpose of having the 8 phases? i dont know but i wish to find out!!

well i dont know for sure but i think that Morganna didnt want To awaken Aura cause she knew that Tsukasa would awaken her soon. so i think that she is just trying to stop him actually cause maybe she is the one who can save the comatose players and morganna doesnt want that to happen

alucard - Yes I know the character is really Rena, but she uses the Black Rose character model, so I simply used that to go along with my board name here. ~_^

true form of twilight - No, Morganna isn't Cubia. Cubia was just a big, big obstacle that Morganna threw to Kite so he couldn't get to Aura.

So, if she is a dark/broken version Aura, does that mean they were programmed into The World at the same time? Hn..wait...no, that wouldn't make sense, because of Lycoris...I couldn't exaclty figure out where to look for that info about Morganna in the animevisions site. >.<

Morganna did not create, or control Cubia... Cubia is unrelated to Morganna.
