Data Drain Differer

How come in Episode 2. Kite's data drain comes out in like multi colored wave blasts but in 4 his data drain is like a lightning bolt >.<

Sorry my eps sorda skiped from 2 to 4 so if anything important happoned between then plz tell mah..

I assume your talking about the //UdeDan anime???
It's simple... that's the way the artists drew it. using the same cells over and over gets old after a while.

U do remember how in esp 2 it effected everybody. I think thats the reason why the colors are different because in the 2nd one it really didnt work properly.

well i think that's cuz shugo's level wasn't high enough to use data drain properly...... or the arists were just plain bored drawing the usual data drain ala lightning bolt style...... its more likely the latter....hehe
