Magic pools anybody??

Hello fellow .hack infection gamers.

i am enjoying my romp in the "world" yet im afriad i might be being a bit too consevative at the magic pools. i have acquired 7 silver and gold axes and im hesitant to expend them in the pools because a comment i read early in the game about"higher level players wanting to trade for golden axes", so i am attempting to hoard mine:p. My question is, is this a good idea ? is there any advice on which items to throw in? i have read that daytime is good for weapons and night time is good for armor but that is about as much as i know of these magic pools.

Yes! Hoard them. I remember seeing a guy on Theta server that was gonna trade a nice weapon for 10 gold and 10 silver axes. n.n;; I think he was seen on Delta too... I'm not sure.n.n;

Tim, who I first noticed on Theta but also appears in Delta will give a Thunder Torque for 10 gold ax, 10 silver ax. The Tunder Torque is my favorite high level headgear.

I don't understand one thing about the magic pools myself... I know they disappear after you use them, but... are they permanently gone? Or do they respawn after you log out and come back? Because I can't find some of the ones I've been to anymore. I understand how that works in a game like this, but in a real MMORPG, I doubt the game could keep track of if you used a pool or not, since other players would need it too. ^^ Wah, if it is permanently gone, I'm sad! ;_; I'm gonna be conservative about what I throw in now too.

*hehs* I found it amusing when I threw in a level 11 twin blade weapon into a level 1 pond and chose neither, and in compensation for not being able to do anything with it, I was given a silver axe, a gold axe, and the original weapon back.

well although the pools you use are then gom i think its best to use the low lvl pools got get gold/silver axes. you can find new ones by going to diferent fields, im nout sure what combination of factors will spawn a worls with pools but i think there is a patern

so far i have always told the truth about the item ive thrown in, chosing neither the silver or gold axe, i wonder what happens if u lie...i know in life usually bad things stem from a lie ,so as in life, i have always tried to be true to the monseir and grampa

Well, if you choose silver or gold axe, you get that in exchange for whatever you tossed in the first place. If you choose neither you sometimes get lucky and get an upgraded equipment, or it goes down in level.

from what i heard...
day without rain raises weapons... not sure about armor...
rain lowers weapons and raises armor...
night raises armor... not sure about weapon...

i realize this is off the main path of this thread, but do any of you know the best place to get a weapon for gardina, the best i have is the merman spear...and its level 9 i think

Next time, please start another topic on such a question rather than just appending it at the end of another discussion.

I can't tell you about Gardenia's spear, though. My particular answer is to datadrain stuff, but that's always my answer. n.n;;;

By the way, the springs. There's a post on the BBS in the game that actually explains the weather conditions and how they effect the weapons and armor. I'll look it up later if I feel like it.

well if you throw in a weapon that cant be upgraded you get your weapon back pluss a gold and silver axe.

you can throw in a gold or silver axe, and if you tell in neither you get back the axe you threw in pluss another gold and silver axe.

BTW i read my last post on this thread and im very sorry about my typing i was useing one of those funky ergonomic keybords. that and my sh**y spelling made it hard to read
