Just a request so bear with me

I think that we should have a forum for just general discussion of anything. I am a moderator at a final fantasy site and we have many different chat forums for different topics other that final fantasy and I think it makes us more of a community because we can chat about our other interests besides final fantasy. This is just a request and not to be taken too seriously, all I want are your honest thoughts on the matter because sometimes it gets boring talking about .hack all the time -_-

If it's so boring. Then people will leave.
This topic will become too big & stupid... I can see it being locked very soon.

We had one, and it promptly degenerated into pointless, irritating chatter about anything and everything - and became by far the most popular and bandwidth-wasting section of the site. Popularity isn't bad in itself, but it's also not what we're after. The purpose of this site is to provide a place for discussion of, and dissemination of information about, .hack - not to create a general-purpose community. Sorry.
