There's actually stuff there now. There's a flash animation thingy that really doesn't make any sense to me at the moment. @.@;; Just figured I'd point this out tho.

That's... kinda strange, truth be told. Do we even know if this is related to Bandai's bit, or if someone else nabbed the domain name for something?

Odd indeed...

We'll have to see what they can scrape up for this - I wonder if its going to be a .hack expansion bit or not.

Should be interesting...

How DID you come across this, Tsu?

hurm... From that, the guy has had it before the .hack project really got out and going. I bet Bandai's gonna offer him a large amount of money to drop the domain sooner or later.

And I ran across it because it's on the wallpapers for the Altimit Desktops. o.o

It wouldn't be the first time someone did this - alot of people made big money off of reserving .com titles in advance, and selling them off to the highest bidder when the boom started.

Not that it matters as much now, as people are rarely shelling out the big bucks, but we'll see...

I noticed that Altimit was gone after I had first checked the Japanese .hack site and saw the wallpaper. That was in what? April last year? Something like that. I bet Bandai tried to snag it much earlier than that, no less. If Pipian wants it, he'll need to beat Bandai to it somehow... and there's also a good chance that the owner will keep the domain, no less.

I close my eyes...
And dream of rings...
spinning in the darkness....

Found that out a while back. Slightly different registrants, but same addy, and same admin contact.

Oh, and altimit.net was the one I *REALLY* wanted. I still don't know what's going on there, or who owns it. Ah well. I'm content with altimit-os.net. I still need to get around to designing the site.

Now this is very interesting.

They've held the site since 2000? Did I read that correctly?
