How is Maha Mia?

I've recently found out that Maha is Mia, but I want to know how. I looked in Cyberslum and I didn't find anything.

Please tell me: How is Maha Mia?

It was already explained.. but I'll re-explained it again.

The cat wizard girl(macha) got Data Drained by Morganna to turn her into a player character, then, at the games, Kite Data drains her again cause Lios was a pighead(kidding) no, cause she was under the control of Morganna into the cat wizard girl again, and then without using Data Drain, Kite destroyed Tsukasa's bracelet, and turned her into Mia again, which she has lost all of her memories again.

I still can't agree to the idea > guardian attack = DD ^^;;

If this is true, I assume Ginkan was DDed and comes back from his coma in SIGN eps 1

I think Maha just, well, dies, and then was reweritten into Mia, who gradually turns back into Maha as Kite defeats the phases

btw, I don't think tsukasa even has a bracelet ^^;

I know Tsukasa doesn't technically has a bracelet like Kite does, but I'm just technically calling Tsukasa's barbell monster a Bracelet.

And I can disagree with that statement.. too.

Maha doesn't technically 'die' just more reborn into something else, that she's not.

AFAIK, the Maha-Mia relationship thing has nv been explained in detail, and I assume that death for the AIs isn't like death for the PCs. If Ginkan dies, he'll just go back to where he last saved, but if Maha dies, well, she dies.. In this case, she reborns as Mia

Let's wait until Zero clears this thing up ^^;;

wait what? First off, Morganna didn't Data Drain her, the three guardians did. The next thing that happened was the destruction of the phases, which caused her to start acting 'oddly.' Then she became Macha. Kite defeated Macha, and then Mia (who was in Macha) died. Then Maha (cat wizard thing) appeared in Hidden Dark Side Holy Ground. I'm not quite sure that Maha was acutally Mia, but maybe it was a memory fragment of Maha from .hack//SIGN. Then you went to the bottom, and Maha became one with the Temptress Lover. You killed it, and Mia's Data returned to Maha (the green thingies). I'm not sure where Tsukasa or the breaking of Kite's bracelet comes into play here, though.

I'm still going with this idea.

After Maha was......killed, it was by her will that she would be created as a Player Character. However, like ALL reincarnations, she lost her memories. As thus, she made herself be reborn as Mia.

....... Hey it may not be the truth but this is what I want to believe.

Besides, if you believe in something strong enough it becomes truth.

Alright, pay attention class! Maha was data-drainded, but turned into Mia, losing her memories and thinks she's a PC. When you defeat phases, she starts turning back into her original form, Phase 6 (I think). Then, when she transforms into her phase form, you have to fight her. She dies, well, not really die. When you go to the last dungeon, you see Maha. She fuses with a Guardian and, just as I feared, you must fight it. When you defeat it, Maha turns back into Mia, with her memories erased, but only about Kite and the bracelet. Got it?

After Mia's transformation and reading her e-mails, I get the feeling she knew she was an AI all long, but didn't say anything in fear of... whatever it is.

mm, also, her little dramatic speech before her transformation to Macha kinda hinted at that. "It's true. I only exist in "The World." If she's saying "It's true," then she must have had some suspicion from the start.

And for the last chapter in Quarantine, I don't have any particular idea about the happenings there. But mayb, it is this way Xb

Maha dies > Mia > Mia dies > Maha > Maha dies > Mia Xb

Each time it dies, it is reborn with a lost memory, how about that one?

Logically, he must have some suspicion that he is an AI, but he doesn't show it.

Btw, do you all know that Mia is actually a male PC? ^^;;

Mainly because..when Maha gets attacked by those Guardians..you see those little uh..I dont know "special effects" going on [I know,I'm Dead tired at the moment and I cant get a word to describing those little sprites things or whatever that appear around her],it was the same when Ginkan was DDed and then Tsukasa,if you had noticed.So that means she was DDed by the Guardians and just like how DD rewrites Data..Maha was rewritten in Mia,simple as that.

But, yeah, that is the data drain, with the little 1's and 0's floating around, which I guess is to represent the rewriting of data.
