I thought all character names were reserved... How come I snagged one, even coming in so utterly late?

I read about the inability to register under player names before registering and it let me register anyway. How come I could register under this name if it's reserved?

...and according to your signature, you yourself should be shot for the "aromatic grass" joke regarding your apparent location...

If Bear took the time to lock every single .hack name, he'd be there forever... so he just changes them as people register with them. You're changed into an untitled, & you pm him to change it into something else.

I didn't refer to it as pot. So I remain bullet hole-less. You haven't been here long.. you don't get it.

Yes, I knew that it referred to reefer, I was just pointing out that you made what appears to be a related joke in your location field.

Never mind.

You'd think he'd at least lock the name of the star of the entire .hack//SIGN series? This is going to be a pain. Screw it, I'll just use the name I always use for forums.

Oh, and what about names that are altered, like that one guy's name is ". H A C K / / S O R A". Or is he just an admin or something?

. H A C K // S O R A is one of the people who was "grandfathered in," as mentioned in the rules - he registered before the naming rule became quite so strict.
