During most of .hack maha doesn't make a sound. But unless my ears are playing tricks on me i thought she gave 3 cries of pain wgen she was DD.

Yup. Maha definitely screamed.

Can't blame her for that, though; all the evidence points to Data Draining being a horrifically painful process.

The first time I watched it I had a dream where I was forced to watch her die over and over while I was chained to a wall with "Aura" playing in the backround...

Obviously, I didn't want to go to school the following morning...

I still wish i could have taken her place. I know that would have messed up the story, but i don't care. I would have gladly went in a coma for her. I think she won over my heart,

and she was the one who data drained tsukasa in the first place

In the subs you can hear her scream clear.
The dubs kinda ruined it over by putting over the screaming with some loud roar sound.
To me,for the dubs,they made it where she Isnt suppose to be heard,thats my opinion though.

even though there isn't a human controling her from the outside, still doesn't mean people still can not have an emotional atachment to her.

Yasha's right. Maha's cry is a lot clearer in the sub.

Yea, she actually has quite a pair of vocal cords... that was one loud scream she has.

I've been saying that since I got here...

Actually it got so big that someone thought I was role playing Tsukasa because I could hear every word that she could say...
