Episode cut from American dvds?!?

Episode cut from American dvds?!?

Ok, just today I finally bought the last .hack//SIGN dvd, and I'm confused:
I know the original Japanese show had 26 tv eps, intermezzo, unison, and gift. Well, the American version has only 25 tv eps, then intermezzo, unison, gift (on liminality, but it is brought over at least) and "Evidence", which is just a clip episode. Evidence is a "bonus episode" at the end of the last disc. While I tried to investigate what happened to make an ep disappear, I found out that the order for a few eps seems to have been changed as well. Does anyone know what's going on? ^^;

EDIT: like, for instance, ep 18 is Declaration in America and Recollection in Japan? ^^;

I think it's just a DVD mix up. They do show episode 15 on TV, but they're not on the DVDs.

I'm sure they guessed that people don't need a recap episode on DVDs, since if you needed to re-watch something, you can just go back to a previous DVD ^^;

I think they just didn't change the episode numbers on the dvds by mistake.

Basically, that episdoe was more or less a 'director's cut' version of several scenes (added footage).

I don't miss it... I hate recap episodes... it was bad enough watching it on dled fansubs... I was like... "I just spent 8 hours downloading stuff I've already seen? Darn"

The fact that it comes in right after a pivotal episode that ends on a cliffhanger made it even worse.

Hey, I downloaded the episodes too... But that was before the DVDs came out. >_>

But yeah, I have to agree with CR... not to mention I had to wait a whole 'nother day to get ep. 16 since I was sneaking on and had to get off before anyone caught me :B
