i just downloaded hack sign episode 28

Anyway, that's not Shugo, Rena, and Mireille, they're Kite, BlackRose, and Mistral. And that's Mia, not Macha... Mia can talk.

yea. i didn't play the game. =/

i am only really interested in the storyline.. but playing the game is too much of a chore.. time is a problem for me too.

The games really are the main part of the .hack storyline. Everything else just serves to explain what happens in them.

but hack sign occurred b4 the games.. so it doesn't really matter if i didn't play it right?

Sign is the prolouge to the games, pretty much.. although it does have it's own story.

Yes, but episode 28 occurs AFTER the games, that's why it has game characters in it.

Sign is the prolouge to the games, pretty much.. although it does have it's own story.

All other .hack parts revolve around .hack//Infection and .hack//Dusk since they take place around the same time. And, yes, you do have to play the games if you truly want to understand all of .hack.
