Well, i just saw an ad for an interesting anime: http://www.advfilms.com/titles/bastofsyndrome/ It's called BASToF Syndrom. It looks like a mix of The Ring, .hack, Witch Hunter Robin (1 episode), and s-cry-ed. The idea is that people live in a city that rose from the ashes (s-cry-ed) called Xenon (Matrix?) They play a game where they use mechs to destroy each other (s-cry-ed, .hack) However, the real-world and the game world have been connected, causing destruction in the game to happen in the real-world (.hack) "It all started when the players heard a painful scream, saw a ghostly face and a powerful scent of lemon overcame them." (The Ring, Witch Hunter Robin, .hack) Anyone else see a bit of redundancy here?
