Kamui's eye

You notice how in the manga, she tends to keep her eye closed, because she has some weird, but nifty looking eye; & in the anime she doesn't.
Is there some signifigance to this character's difformation in the ocal area; or is it just some nifty character design?

Is having a non-symmetrical face a requirement of being leader of the Hekii no Kishidan? And it's probably different in the anime 'cause the anime isn't as related to the manga as it umm... ought to be... ^^;;;

I wouldn't think it has significance...it's like FLCL, in the sence that the anime and manga look very different (here, it's almost the same, just some things are different)

I really feel that the eye has somehting to do with Albireo being her direct predecessor. Also:

What does the eye really have to with anything? Heck, the eye could be just another animator mistake.
