How Kite can DD

Post by kboy7 »

How does Kite use the DD? Does it just happen when it is supposed to?

He only used it without conscious control once, and that was the first time. I don't believe it happens automatically any time after that. Kite probably uses it the same way he would any other skill. (However that is. Nobody official has seen fit to explain the specifics of the World's interface.) I guess it's used by pressing a certain combination of buttons.

actually, data drain was showed as a skill command in his skill menu. It probably was compatible with "The World" technology and was made to be used like any other skill.

So, technically, DD is a technique programmed with the kite avatar (for some reason).

Yeah, that's what I said, but how do the players of the World use skills? They can't be using the same menu system that's in the .hack games, since the characters in SIGN don't stop moving right before they use a skill.

Yeah, but in most real MMORPG games, there's a slow way to do something (scrolling through a menu) and the fast way, (assigning a macro so you just press two buttons and the skill happens). And really, if you got good at it, you wouldn't see much lag when they select the skill. Just look how fast Tokuoka presses the buttons in Lim #1.

Well, your attack button is X, so there's not much you can do with it....

In the games, whenever u bring up a menu, everything stops. Now that's just weird. Probably in //Sign is a similar menu but everything is in real time.

Well, for Tsukasa it is a real experience. After all
he is trapped in the game. And this is different, the game is real for him. He can get hurt; litterally
Ok, I know this shouldn't be in spoilers, but just being safe.
