Confused... Kazu, Mia, exc

In the manga, they are seem to all know eachother, and Kazu was thrown into a coma, blackrose (sister) went to go save him.
Who is Kazu online?
Who is KITE irl?

And since Shugo and Rena
and Kazu and his sister all lived near eachother, wouldnt that set the timeframe off? Because Rena and Blackrose would have joined at nearly the same time, but the world in .hack//Dusk looks like 10 years beyond that of Infection exc exc. Any help explaining this to me?

First of all, it was 3 or 4 years after, inwhich DUSK took place.

Also, Kite (irl) is a 14 year old student.

Kazu is a Wavemaster online, and yes, is BlackRose's sister. Apparently they did know Shugo and Rena at the time.

Four years later, Shugo and Rena just so happen to get the BlackRose and Kite avatars.
