Aura statue
Aura statue
As we all know the statue of Aura first appeared in Delta: Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground after .hack//SIGN. My question is, who put her there? AI Harold couldn't have, Morganna deleted him in .hack//SIGN. The Harold in real world couldn't have, he was dead along with Emma. Morganna wouldn't have had any reason to, and neither would anyone else with hacking skills. Even if they did, no one of them but Helba even knows about Aura to begin with, and I'm sure she wouldn't waste her time with such a thing. The Admin's, except Lios (and that was at the end of the games) didn't know about Aura either. Thoughts anyone?

hrm, maybe it was a program in the World waiting to be activated for the Twilight? like, maybe it's a symbol of Aura's power being bound, god I'm not making any sense, dang flu medicine, um...like, Harold put it there, but it wasn't activated until Skeith's birth, so it appeared and whatnot, and I'm not sure, since I haven't played the games, but hasn't the Statue worked like a gate or to Aura's Domain or something? because Kite was there in one scene where he found one of Harold's Notes, ugh...oh I'll do this later >.>

No, it it doesn't act as a gate, I belive your refering to the Gott statue in .hack//SIGN, that led Tsukasa to Aura's domain. As for Aura creating it herself, she wouldn't have any reason to, and I think she has bigger things to worry about. (like running away from Skeith.YamiJared wrote:hrm, maybe it was a program in the World waiting to be activated for the Twilight? like, maybe it's a symbol of Aura's power being bound, god I'm not making any sense, dang flu medicine, um...like, Harold put it there, but it wasn't activated until Skeith's birth, so it appeared and whatnot, and I'm not sure, since I haven't played the games, but hasn't the Statue worked like a gate or to Aura's Domain or something? because Kite was there in one scene where he found one of Harold's Notes, ugh...oh I'll do this later >.>

Edit:Kageko, if you have information on who created the statue, please post it.

I am not sure how to explain it in English...>.<;;;
Morganna Mode Gone created the statue and the chains to represent herself.(.hack//The World 1)
I think it's a way that Morganna showed that she had the power. She wanted to say that Aura was bound by her. Aura couldn't escape.@_@
If you can't understand, just say so. I will try to re-write it again.^_^

But if just a normal person saw the statue, then they would still have no idea who Morganna or Aura was, and her hold over Aura. It is just like boasting about beating some unknown game that hasn't been released yet, or even heard of

She could've placed the statue there to signal the dothackers that something was still wrong with the world. Sort of like how Aura gave the bracelet to Shugo because she thought he was Kite. I don't think Morganna would've still wanted them back, unless she wanted some sort of revenge.alucard wrote:Maybe Aura herself....

well, in the games, Aura's power is binded entirely, she probably strained herself to make the Twilight Bracelet, I doubt she could do anything else. also, Aura did NOT think Shugo was Kite at all, she's the one who gave him the Kite Avatar in the first place, she gave him the avatar to try and convince him to "get back in the game" so he could "fulfill his dream of becoming a hero"

So it's Morganna's way of saying "I'm here"? That would kind of make sense, since she doesn't like to be ignored. (which is the whole reason why she after Aura in the first place.) Though, wouldn't she want to spend more time trying to catch Aura (with Skeith), rather than just making her presence known (in a round-about way) to ordinary players, who probably wouldn't know who Aura/Morganna is and even if they did, most likely wouldn't care?
