Name doesn't correspond to the ip...

my english is not good, by i'll try to explain the situation:
there is and address... for example www.lalala.org.
It't pinged and following ip got: for example... 66.66.66.1.
Next, i plase the ip to the address bar of a browser... and then got another site.
i did not understand... may be some snickies with dns.. but, i did not understand.
I do not need have any priviligies on this site =) I just need real ip to find it's physical location.
